Ok, I registered my nick, now what?
Well, Now you can:
- Get and send memos
- Register channels
- Get ops from ChanServ
- Store information like your URL and E-Mail in NickServ
- Keep people from using your nick when you're not online (Nickname
Enforce)
- And more! (/NickServ HELP)
Having your nick registered means you can do a LOT more. But
there's something you should do RIGHT NOW. Type
/NickServ SET EMAIL my@email.com. Put in
your REAL EMAIL. If you put a fake one, or none at all, then
you'll be out of luck if you ever forget your password.
But I don't want everyone to see my E-Mail!
Well, have I got a flag for you! Type
/NickServ SET HIDEMAIL ON and NickServ will NOT show your E-Mail to
anyone but SOPs and Service Admins! Not even IRCops can see
it when you have this flag on. Doesn't that make you feel better?
I bet now you want to know what ELSE you can do...

What if I want to register another nick?
You may register as many nicks as you like (within reason).
Just remember that nick registration expires after 21 days.
If you don't log in for more than 21 days, your nick will
expire and will be available for anyone else to register.
Alternatively, you may wish to LINK your primary nick
to another (available) name. Simply identify to NickServ as your primary
nick, and then issue the LINK command:
/NickServ LINK newnick
Well, now you know the basics of owning and using your own
nickname. If you need more help, NickServ has this same information and more
online in it's help files (/NickServ HELP), and you
can always ask questions in #Help. Or, you can
