1. Do not abuse Services. They are free to all users
who do not abuse them. You can lose your access to Services
and you can be removed from this Network.
2. Channel takeovers are not welcome here. If you are
caught, you will be removed from this Network.
3. SPAMMING ON THIS NETWORK IS NOT ALLOWED.
You will be banned for life.
4. Using the JetIRC Network or its Servers is
not a right. You can be removed, though not without cause.
5. DO NOT ARGUE WITH ANY ADMIN... or look for a new network.
Our Opers put in a LOT of time and work to keep the Network up. They
do it for FREE, and some even have to pay for the shells that it all runs
on! They therefore DESERVE RESPECT, just like you. If you do
not like it, please leave. If you are having any major problems
with a particular Oper or Admin, please file a complaint using our official
complaint form,
here.
The form results are sent to all four Network Admins, so even if the
complaint is about one of them, it WILL be investigated.
6. Abusing any IRCop is grounds for a ban from the network.
The IRCops work very hard to help everyone and keep things running. If
you have a problem, please file a complaint using our official complaint
form,
here.
7. Bot Policy is that you must set your Bots to
mode +B (including eggdrop bots -- if you don't know how,
either find help or don't run the bot!
If you cannot figure out how to make your eggdrop set itself
+B, you need to learn more about your bot before bringing it online),
and that all Bots MUST be registered. Go

to register your Bot with us. Failure to do so can result in
AKILL. War bots are permitted ONLY in #war, and are not to affect
people outside of that channel.
8. No more than 4 connections per host. To explain: Every
connection you make to our network from the SAME location (clones) is kept
track of. When that total reaches 5, all
clones are killed and banned for 30 minutes. This includes bots, if they
are on the same host. (Exceptions can be and are made. Please ask
Saturn).
9. Nuking and user wars
are not permitted on our servers.
This activity is treated as
harassment and the attacker(s) will be banned permanently. If
appropriate, complaints to your ISP and/or legal action may be taken.
10. DO NOT ask for an O:Line or IRCop status. Go
here for help on getting
IRCops.
11. If you connect and discover that you are AKilled (banned),
DO NOT repeatedly hammer the servers
(Hammering is when you reconnect over and over the moment you are killed).
Hammering is perceived as a form of attack on the network and will be dealt
with accordingly. We may increase the length of time of the ban, set a
GLine to prevent any form of connection, and if the problem persists, we
will contact your ISP. (Make no mistake, ISPs are usually very
cooperative about shutting down abusers). If you are in doubt
