Welcome to The JetIRC NETWORK

Thank you for volunteering your time!  As a CiT, you're asked to follow some simple rules.  Following, is some of the Rules of the Network.

OPER RULES

IRC is meant to be fun. We like to keep it that way, so follow the rules please.

1.  We recommend that all Opers log. This is to show your Admins or the Network Admins what happened, if something does happen. Plus, it is good to keep a log of what you do. You can always delete old logs if nothing happens that day...

2.  Do not use your CiT status as a Symbol. This can get it taken away.

3.  Opers are expected to regularly (weekly, minimum) visit the Forum for updates and news.  Failure to do so can mean missed meetings or policies.  The result? Loss of status.

4.  CiTs are also expected to check the online MOTD (Message of the day) for the server (weekly at least).  This is to keep abreast of any Admin/Oper changes to the network.  You are also expected to check the Discussion Forum (link on the left column) at least once a week, especially in the Announcements section.  All of this is so you are fully aware of the happenings on the Network.  It doesn't look good if the Users know more about what's happening than the Opers.

5.  If you cannot answer a User's question, please refer them to a full Oper or Admin.  You may also refer them to the website at any time.  Please don't just leave them "hanging".

6.  If you encounter any problems with a User please notify a full Oper or Admin, immediately. If none are online, please memo Saturn.
